Doidos e santos

No bondinho, há aproximadamente 20 pessoas, estando a maioria sentada e meia dúzia em pé.

Um jovem, que está entre os sentados, chama atenção, pois fala incessantemente em alto e bom som, enquanto os outros exercem o seu solilóquio silenciosamente, como santos em pedestal, com o olhar inclinado pra cima.

Próximo ao jovem, ainda há dois assentos vagos.

O bondinho para, alguns passageiros saem, e um entra e se senta ao lado do jovem. Ao escutar a voz do vizinho, percebe o olhar geral de santo e busca uma ocupação imediatamente; arremata um jornal que está jogado e se interessa pela leitura, sem perceber que era a seção dos classificados; quem sabe decidiu comprar um imóvel.

O bondinho para novamente; alguns passageiros saem e um entra com passos largos e falando alto; esse tem cheiro de guardado, barba longa e cabelos grisalhos, porém um olhar vivo. Ele se senta, falante, no único banco vago, próximo ao jovem.

Ao escutar a voz do jovem vizinho, ele se desperta e silencia; e observa o olhar de santo dos demais. Calmamente, olha nos olhos de cada um dos passageiros, como quem busca cumplicidade; todos permanecem em seu pedestal e evitam qualquer diálogo. O olhar do senhor não desiste e, antes de saltar do bonde, transmite um recado:

“Entre doidos e santos, existe uma diferença: o volume da voz.”

2 caras e um segredo

Após alguns dias de trabalho racional, com prazo e objeto definido, volto ao campo movediço e pantanoso de escrever. É como naquele lapso temporal sem exercício no qual a carne fica molinha... Assim é a imaginação, ao invés de pisar e flutuar, afundamos quando não se pratica; e caídos, no lodo, fingimos ver peixinhos como se estivéssemos no fundo do mar, numa tentativa de reanimá-la, a qualquer custo.

Nessas voltas ao labirinto das invenções, me proponho a escrever algo melhor do que já escrevi, como se fosse o caminho natural evolutivo.

“Enfim, com esse novo texto, chegarei à ribalta.”

No momento dessa proposta, estou inconsciente, não sinto nem sou, e redijo um texto, exibindo opiniões, que me exponham culta e distante do depreciativo senso comum. Obviamente, o resultado sai sem pé nem cabeça e insosso. Ainda cega, envio o arquivo para a minha amiga-editora (ela não sabe, mas é), e penso:

“Desse texto ela não se recupera; vai ficar sem fôlego.”

Ela, gentilmente, lê tudo e comenta cada parágrafo. Fico pasma como ela ainda não é editora profissional. Pra deixar a minha autoestima confortável, ela diz:

“O meu trabalho de criticar é mais fácil do que o seu. Não se chateie com os meus comments.”

Ela escreve comments, porque soa mais suave; é como falar um palavrão em outro idioma pra soar menos bruto.

Leio e me dou conta de que estou caída no lodo e não tem um peixinho sequer pra continuar a história. Cada comentário me denuncia e aponta o fotoshop utilizado para me exibir douta e criativa. Diante do computador, finjo que já sabia de tudo, depois vou ao banheiro e diante do espelho me provoco:

“Estou chateada consigo. Como você se faz passar por um PhD, usando um mísero fotoshop?”

Não há resposta, mas a cara fica vermelha. E me dou conta de que é o meu Gregório, demandando atenção. Ao nos reconhecermos, ele começa a implicância.

“Não dá pra viver sem glamour, sem polêmica, sem público... E você sabe muito bem que sou eu quem escreve essas histórias todas. Se não sou eu pra tomar conta disso aqui, isso não passaria de um sertão sozinho. E você? E “si”? Nada.”

Gregório é o alcoveto multifacetado que subsiste em algum lugar escondido e aparece quando não estou presente. Ele é dedicado e adora ser o máximo. Aprende rápido e é ambicioso. Por sua abnegação, atingiu posições de destaque diversas vezes e aparenta ser indispensável (com convicção).

É fundamental pra ele grandes feitos, fazer a diferença, ser reverenciado e, de preferência, amado. Mas também não haveria mal algum em ser odiado. Ele pode domar uma rede de inimigos, mas não suportaria o esquecimento. Ele quer ser pra sempre.

“Vão ler isso e mudar de vida.” Ele prevê.

Durante muito tempo, me confundi com Gregório, porque ele é convincente e dominador. Em alguns momentos, ele me fazia acreditar que as suas conquistas eram os meus propósitos de vida. Gregório só não me enganou por mais tempo, porque é insaciável. Pra ele nada parece suficiente. E isso é extenuante.

“De quanto dinheiro precisamos?”

“Um pouco mais.”

“Quanto amor?”

“Esse cara não nos dá valor, o que ele oferece não é suficiente. Lembra como ele nos tratou naquele dia...? E na frente dos amigos...? Ele sempre quer fazer diferente da gente...”

Cada frase dele vem acompanhada de um filminho, como prova do que diz.

Gregório é cheio de artimanha e se disfarça bem; consegue se passar por herói, amante, líder, vilão, vítima e outros tantos. Finge ter o domínio da situação, mas, no fundo, é inseguro. Por isso, quer controlar tudo, até o que escrevo. Porque pra ele, temos que parecer “escritores” e não uma pessoa que escreve porque gosta. Pra ele, temos que ter uma razão nobre; o título é tão importante quanto os aplausos; o ato de escrever é secundário. É nesse ponto que nos separamos.

Quando falo dele em público, ele tenta impedir e alega tudo que já fez por mim. Diz que foi ele quem trabalhou e ganhou dinheiro; e que se não fosse por ele, eu não estaria aqui; e repete enquanto puder:

“Isso não é justo. Você tem que voltar a se destacar, nós podemos mais, você está diminuindo.”

E em minutos ele passa, sutilmente, de herói a vítima. Ele topa qualquer coisa, desde que receba olhares, seja de idolatria, ou compaixão.

Ultimamente, ele afirma que escreve o que escrevo. Reli texto a texto e identifiquei aqueles que ele escreveu... É fácil perceber, são aqueles em que me destaco como uma heroína. “Meus mares, criativ’idade, divers’idade...”

Aonde quero chegar contando isso...

No segredo.

Vou tentar matar Gregório e a imaginação já me emprestou um rifle.

Tive que fazer outros trabalhos para equilibrar os prós e contras de um chute de balde. Alguns dias sem escrever e fiquei às mínguas... Postei oferta de trabalho pra chamar a sua atenção, mas você, quando quer, se faz de difícil.

Jobs at United Nations

The Commission for Social Development (CSocD) is a functional commission of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. It consists of 46 members elected by ECOSOC.

Since the convening of the World Summit for Social Development in Copenhagen in 1995, the Commission has been the key UN body in charge of the follow-up and implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration and Programme of Action. As a result of the Summit, the mandate of the Commission was reviewed and its membership expanded from 32 to 46 members in 1996. It meets once a year in New York, usually in February.

Each year since 1995, the Commission has taken up key social development themes as part of its follow-up to the outcome of the Copenhagen Summit. The Commission's Programme of Work contains all documentation of the Commission for each of its sessions since the Summit.

Criativ'idade

De acordo com estudos sobre criatividade, aos 12 anos de idade, temos uma queda assustadora da nossa capacidade criativa. Daí por diante, ou se “usa o que sobrou, ou se enterra”, diz o artigo.

Se nos for dado o direito a fantasiar (com a fatia que sobrou), podemos imaginar que tenha sido naquela aula de ciências sobre micróbios, bactérias e vírus, que o tombo criativo iniciou a sua derrocada. Foi só saber que esses seres invisíveis estavam ao nosso redor que começamos a nos abster de cair na lama, fazer castelinho de areia e brincar de massinha.

Depois dessa aula, toda a ingenuidade do distraído foi aos poucos substituída por mais conhecimento sobre o nosso entorno. Nem imaginávamos, nessa época, que estávamos, possivelmente, nos afastando do caldo criativo.

E passo a passo, vamos ingressando no mundo dos adultos. A regra é simples e brutal:

“Que vença o melhor.”

Iniciamos a corrida por um apanhado de títulos, cargos e afins. E com esses salvo-condutos, queremos atingir o sucesso. O mundo nos cobra rapidez, temos que olhar e já saber o que se passa, concluir, atribuir valores e julgar tudo a olho nu.

E depois de chegar ao pódio, deixamos de ouvir as opiniões vicinais; as mais distantes nem com muito esforço; afinal, conquistamos a glória. E se alguém nos contradiz, é porque não sabe o que está falando.

“Ele quer discutir comigo esse assunto?”

Imbuídos de tanto saber, nos esquecemos de imaginar novas possibilidades; começamos a repetir o caminho habitual, os lugares e passamos a gostar de ler só os nossos concórdes. Criar? Não há nada pra se inventar aqui.

E se esse caminho for percorrido sem pausa, independentemente da idade, o anacronismo cardíaco pode ser irreversível, e sem saber poderemos atirar no próprio pé; ou porque "já chegamos lá", ou porque julgamos não precisar mais dele.

Por sorte, isso é só uma fantasia... Mas se não for, pausa para todos os maiores de 12 anos.

Feito isso, vamos parar de trabalhar e começar a brincar!

Divers'idade

É curioso definirmos uma idade pra (quase) tudo. Idade pra estudar, pra namorar, dirigir, maioridade civil, retorno de saturno, ter desconto; até que se chega à idade do limbo. 37.

Na proximidade da quarta década, os descontos e bolsas de estudo desaparecem, dentre outras possibilidades, porém resiste, em alto e bom som, um questionamento pessoal e social.

"Vai ter filhos?"

Se a mulher chegou a essa idade e já teve o primeiro filho, a pergunta persiste, porém disfarçada: vai ter o segundo? E para mulher que já teve o segundo: vai ter mais um, ou fechou?

Se Shakespeare fosse vivo, ele possivelmente estaria se perguntando: ter ou não ter? Eis a questão.

Na tentativa de compreender o que mobiliza as pessoas a estabelecerem o que fazer e em que momento da vida, comecei a pesquisar o assunto. Clica de cá, clica de lá, surgiu um artigo sobre criatividade, que explicava o motivo da busca humana por definição (internet é bom por isso, você começa pesquisando um assunto trivial e encontra algo genial).

A busca por definição parece residir no fato de sentirmos segurança nas regras, sejam as de convívio social, sejam as do trabalho, ou da própria rotina. Quando algo imprevisível acontece, a sensação imediata é quase sempre de estranheza. Por essas e por outras, também é esperado que a mulher tenha filhos; quando a idade “chega” e a indefinição permanece, o resultado parece ser um cabo de aço entre os que seguiram a regra e os que cogitam descumpri-la.

Independentemente da nossa convicção, nem todo mundo nasceu pra ter experiências iguais, por mais divinas que sejam. Diversidade é uma dádiva. Aproveitemo-nos.

1) Escrever um blog pode ser considerado um compromisso público, que servirá de estímulo para continuar estudando e/ou desenvolvendo um assunto do seu interesse;

2) Por conta do item anterior, a criatividade, que pode estar retraída ou reprimida, vai querer andar a passos largos;

3) Você vai se deparar com várias pessoas e ideias novas diariamente (por conta das suas pesquisas);

4) Todos os assuntos tecnológicos, que seus amigos, filhos e/ou sobrinhos dominam, passarão a ser lugar comum; e você vai até se sentir mais jovem;

5) Você vai ter a oportunidade de compartilhar alguma coisa com pessoas conhecidas e com outras, que nunca imaginou conhecer.

Se nada te apetece, então, faz um blog sobre isso; você vai acabar descobrindo uma paixão incurável.

A noiva

Ela sempre foi o que ele esperava. Já estavam juntos há cinco anos. Era o dia do aniversário de namoro; e ele a chamou pra jantar no lugar que ela escolhesse. No imaginário dela, ele ia propor alguma coisa; talvez o que faltava.


Ele a buscou em casa e a levou ao restaurante escolhido. Logo que saíram do carro, ela observou que havia uma caixinha no bolso traseiro esquerdo da calça dele.

O jantar foi acompanhado de luzes de vela.

Entrada.

Lembrança do início do namoro.


Prato principal.


As brincadeiras do presente.


“Tem um negocinho no seu dente.”


“Dou um jeito nisso já.”


“Agora não amor.”


Sobremesa.


Planos. Ela precisava. E a humanidade cobrava.


Ele a olhava com paixão.


“E a caixinha?”


“Que caixinha?”


“Que está no seu bolso traseiro esquerdo?”


“No meu bolso esquerdo? Ah! É o fio dental pra tirar o negocinho do dente.”


Silêncio.


“Ele não está me dando valor. Só pode ser... Ele não quer me reconhecer como mulher dele para os amigos. Ou tem outra. A humanidade estava certa, ele quer continuar solteiro... É melhor terminar o namoro...”


Em fração de segundos, a cabeça dela havia imaginado 343 cenários. Porém, por alguma razão desconhecida, ela se manteve calada.


A conta chegou.


Ela havia pedido, com um gesto.


“Muito trabalho amanhã?”


No carro, ele a entrega a aliança de noivado. Ela não acredita. Fica olhando. Chora. Era tudo que ela esperava. Pede desculpa pela frieza no final do jantar e por ter pedido a conta tão abruptamente. Quer contar pra todo mundo.


“No fundo, ela tinha certeza.”


Eles se despedem na porta da casa dela. Todos dormem. Ela liga o computador e conta pra humanidade. Horas passam.


Ela está exausta e dorme olhando para o anel.


Ao acordar, imagina o que vai acontecer. Planeja.


Meses pensando como, onde e quando.


Define a data, de acordo com as férias, estação do ano e menarca.


Tudo certo.


A festa.


Esposa, finalmente.


Casa. Móveis.


Listas.


Apesar da casa, dos móveis, e dos incontáveis presentes, havia um espaço sobrando...


Ela não sabe onde ficou.

Ela se procurou.


Não era bem o que ela esperava.


Aguentou firme, mesmo sem estar ali.


Uma coisa depois da outra.


Perguntou ao mundo se era como era.


“Era.”



Ficou em silêncio, olhou de novo a aliança e suspeitou que tudo aquilo a transformava em esposa, mas não numa pessoa plena; foi quando se avistou, escondida entre presentes, móveis e visitantes.
